Suez Cement Company announced that it will not compete for the newly-issued cement licences, especially given the difficult conditions imposed by the Industrial Development Authority (IDA), said Bruno Carré, Managing Director of the Suez Cement Group. He further added that the company had purchased the conditions booklet for the new licences earlier, but decided not to proceed after having read the conditions. (Al Mal)
