Ministry of Electricity plans to establish and list two subsidiaries in 2018
The Ministry of Electricity and Renewable Energy plans on listing two of its affiliated companies on the Egyptian Stock Market through an initial public offering (IPO) in 2018, upon the delivery of some of the projects currently being executed by Siemens, according to Minster Mohamed Shaker. The two companies will be established to manage projects with a combined total capacity of 18k MW; 14.4K MW for the first company through the management of the three projects currently being developed by Siemens in: Beni Suef, Burullus and the new administrative capital, and 3.6K MW for the second company through managing the government’s fast-track programme.
