Kuwait reveals USD11.3 billion plan for infrastructure projects

The Ministry of Public Works has announced plans to develop 30 infrastructure projects worth a combined KWD3.43 billion (USD11.3 billion) under its current development plan. Six major development projects including the Jaber causeway, the Kuwait International Airport expansion and Mubarak al-Kabeer port will be implemented in 2017, according to state news agency KUNA. The Kuwait International Airport’s Terminal 2 contract is yet to be decided upon, according to Ali Al-Omair, Minister for Public Works. (Arabian Business)
