Commercial International Bank (CIB) has appointed Hisham Ramez, former Governor of the Central Bank of Egypt, as Managing Director and Vice Chairman. He rejoins CIB following a short stint, from December 2011 until January 2013, when he also held the positions of Managing Director and Vice Chairman. Ramez will oversee the overall business of CIB and manage the day-to-day operations. Hisham Ezz El Arab will retain his position as Chairman of the bank, focusing on strategic issues in addition to overseeing the regulatory functions of the bank.
