70 hotels were closed in Sharm in past five months
Some 70 hotels were closed in Sharm El Sheikh over the past five months, with occupancy rates not exceeding the 20% mark, according to General Khaled Fouda, Governor of South Sinai. Every unoccupied room is estimated to cost an average of EGP10,000 per month. (Al Shorouk)
